Vancouver UX Book Swap!

The IA/CS Vancouver Meetup and the UX Book Club Vancouver would like to invite you to the very first Vancouver UX Book Swap*! Here's how the swap will work:

1. You bring a UX book to swap.

• You can bring more than 1 if you like. You are only allowed to take home (up to) the same number of books you brought.

• The book has to be on a topic that is related UX - psychology, data, interaction design - up to you! It does not have to explicitly have "UX" in the title.

• Unswapped books will be kept until the next swap. If the library grows too large, we'll donate them.

2. The book swap is a free-for-all honour system. Playground rules apply:

• No takebacks: Once you give something, you can't ask for it back.

• No cutting: We "line up," figuratively speaking, and choose books in an orderly fashion.

• Take turns: If someone picks the book you wanted first, you can wait until the next swap to get it.

• No do-overs: Once you pick your book, you have to keep it. If there are leftover books at the end, you can choose to swap 1 final time.

3. Optional: Leave a note inside the book describing who would benefit from reading it, or why you brought this book to be swapped. Leave your name, job role and any contact info if you are ok with the person contacting you.

There will also be some time to mingle and chat about books!
