With Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI dominating headlines, this has introduced a range of societal risks.

Join Emma, an AI researcher and consultant for the UK Home Office, for a balanced exploration of artificial intelligence in a free virtual webinar exploring this topic.

This talk will cover
1. An overview at the systemic risks introduced by AI and the databases such as MITRE ATLAS that are tracking them

2. Examine the specific, measurable harms LLMs are currently causing across broader society, including the proliferation of sophisticated cybercrime, the scaling of misinformation campaigns, and the use of generative tools to facilitate and escalate gender-based violence and child exploitation. We'll open up the OWASP recommendations to examine specific case studies.

3. The solution landscape. We'll examine the practical steps and defence strategies available across the professional spectrum.
