THE CREATIVE CIRCLE

We are revolutionising the way Creative People network; bringing Creative professionals into our Circle (see what we did there?) and helping to improve their knowledge of the industry with interesting topics and engaging debate.

This year we have hosted several Creative Circle events, with hundreds of creative professionals attending. Over six thousand people are now subscribed to our events on meetup.com and to our mailing lists, so our tickets always sell out within a few days. Please purchase yours now to avoid disappointment!

We are continuously trying to improve and evolve Creative Circle and would love to hear some of the topics you’d like to hear about too! Please help us by completing our feedback form after the event, so we can continue to bring you the content you want!

THE EVENT

Wednesday 19th of October 2016 @ THE RAINMAKING LOFT

With VR now readily accessible on the commercial market, we’re meeting with some of the agencies exploring the potential and future of Mixed and Virtual Reality within a range of industries and talking a look at how we design for the experience. This will be an opportunity to discuss one of the most interesting developments in the technical space in recent years.

Head to The Rainmaking Loft (by Tower Bridge - North Side) on the 19th October, to unwind and network with 150 other professional guests at our private conference. We will be networking from 6.30pm, with some mixed reality demos from some of our clients too. It will be great fun, so please do arrive promptly! Guest Talks will begin around 7.30.

Hiring managers are welcome, and if you are interested in hosting or sponsoring an event (and would like to get a taste of what we do), please get in touch with Myles McMorrow and we can hold you a ticket!

Tweet the event @_CreativeCloud and let’s get the ball rolling! We look forward to seeing you soon!!!

TALKS AND DISCUSSIONS

Alternate realities, moving from marketing gimmicks into our daily lives

Chris Scattergood, Founder – FundamentalVR

With a background in creating a number of successful mobile and live experience agencies and seeing them through to acquisition, Chris is one of the co-founders of Fundamental VR.

FundamentalVR create world leading Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Tech solutions to address business problems and opportunities in organisations, business and governments. Combining haptic, Sensory and holographic work with existing and emerging technologies including 360 video, they create experiences for Microsoft Hololens, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR and through to Google Cardboard.

Chris will be looking at how new alternate realities are becoming a part of our daily lives, exploring how these new emerging technologies will actually impact on us beyond being simply, ‘marketing stunts’

Revolutionising the way we communicate in Science.

Ben Ramsbottom, CEO and Medical Director – Random 42 Scientific Communication

Ben will discuss Random42 Scientific Communication’s work within both Virtual and Mixed Reality.

Virtual Reality (VR) has elevated scientific storytelling to a new level. Random42 can take users on an immersive journey inside the human body, watching red blood cells float alongside in an artery or following a signalling pathway into the nucleus.

With Mixed Reality (MR), users are now able to explore key characters from an animation and bring clinical data to life with physical, virtual and augmented realities together. Whether learning about the function of a whole organ system or a small cell surface receptor, the most specific level of detail contained in a molecular structure can all be examined through gesture driven control.

Architectural design through virtual reality

Ekke Piirisild, Director – Vrtisan

Ekke Piirisild is the director of London-based architectural visualisation start-up VRtisan. Using AR and VR as key technologies, VRtisan’s are pushing the boundaries of digital design and construction.

With a background in architectural design, Ekke is passionate about using the latest developments in virtual reality, 360˚ panoramic animation and real-time rendering, to visualise spaces and places in new and immersive ways. Alongside managing VRtisan’s main visualisation work, he also leads the development of bespoke virtual reality design and coordination solutions for the construction industry.

Ekke will explore our current options for designing in VR. We will look at how, using findings from VRtisan’s collaborations with design and construction professionals, they have developed design tools which meet the different needs and aspirations of Stakeholders and design teams, both now and on future construction projects.

Max Doelle works to inspire companies towards better customer engagement by demonstrating the opportunities that come with emerging technologies.
