"Lessons on stakeholder influence from anthropology"
Kate is a Sr. Research Manager at Instacart, specializing in UX research across consumer and shopper-facing products. With expertise in consumer products, emerging markets, AI, and trust and safety, Kate brings over a decade of research experience. She previously worked at Facebook as a Senior UX Researcher and completed her PhD in Social Anthropology at the University of Washington. In this talk, Kate is going to talk about lessons on stakeholder influence from anthropology and share some of her experiences working on AI products.

"Using solid feature definitions to build AI products"
Connor is a Sr. User Researcher at Microsoft, specializing in generative AI products. With over five years of experience, he advises Subconscious.AI and co-founded the Applied Behavioral Science Association. Connor excels in turning complex data into strategic insights, contributing to innovations like Microsoft Viva and Twilio Segment. Recently, Connor published a book, "Bridging Intentions to Impact”. In this talk, Connor is going to give us a sneak peek of his book and helps us decide if AI is the perfect match for the user problems we’re trying to solve.
