[📍 Onsite] Unlocking Synergy: DEV x UX

The relationship between UX designers and developers is like walking a tightrope - full of challenges, but also with great potential for innovation. On the one hand, the divide of silos, miscommunication and differing priorities threatens to destabilize the partnership. This requires not only a bridge of understanding between the different sectors of each profession, but also concerted action to effectively share insights, tools and communication strategies. On the other hand, this endeavor presents a unique opportunity to promote a holistic, user-centered approach that benefits the entire project. Instead of complaining about the obstacles, designers and developers can work together to redefine collaboration and take the user experience to a new level.

In our meetup in March, we will address common pitfalls in the collaboration between UX and development, including topics such as silos, lack of communication and misplaced priorities. Tobias Lubrano (UX Designer & Frontend Developer at Axtesys) will share his experiences with us. In addition, Johannes Lehner (Lead UX Engineer at Intact) will provide some ideas on how UX could collaborate with backend developers and software architects on a whole new level. Before closing out the meetup with social mingeling, we will discuss your specific questions and problems you have been facing in an open discussion.
