[📍 Onsite] CSS in Graz meets UX Graz

We're back with another meetup collaboration! In February, UX Graz is teaming up with CSS in Graz to bring you two inspiring talks, exploring the intersection of (front of the) frontend development and user experience.

In the first talk, Andreas Steinkellner and Stefan Schintler will talk about their Master Theses together with their supervisor Keith Andrews. The presentation will cover Gizual's innovative approaches to interaction and visualisation, and some of the technical challenges which were overcome, including strategies to minimise memory footprint, implement performant file operations, and distribute workload using web workers. It will conclude with a look at ongoing and potential future work.

Our second talk focuses on the synergies between developers and UX professionals when working on design systems. Johannes Lehner will reveal how combining the strengths of both disciplines can make design systems more effective. Expect practical examples, including shared naming conventions, integrating code snippets into design, and best practices for component structure.
