Whether you’re a seasoned UX/UI professional, a student, transitioning into UX or making a lateral change, what do recruiters and HR manager’s look for in a resume and what do they look for when picking candidates.

• How do you know if what you’re putting on your resume will at least get you a phone call back or interview with a recruiter or HR Manager?

• Do personal statements matter on resumes?

• How often should I call you to let you know I’m available as a freelancer?

• How many resumes should I have?

We'll start the day with an introduction of the professional participants, how the day will be structured, and then what you should be doing after meeting with recruiters and HR managers.

SCHEDULE:

9:00-9:30 am — Check-in/Name Tags and Networking
9:30-9:45 am — Intro to the day and leaders and THAKS to General Assembly
9:45-3:00 pm — Fair begins - each participant is allowed 15 minutes per recruiting company
9:45-2:00 pm — Rapid MENTORSHIP available throughout the day in 15 minute increments
10:00-10:30 am — 1/2 hour Resume Workshop
11:00-11:30 am — 1/2 hour Resume Workshop
12:00-12:30 pm — 1/2 hour Resume Workshop
1:00-1:30 pm — 1/2 hour Resume Workshop
2:00-2:30 pm — 1/2 hour Resume Workshop
3:00 pm — UX Career Fair Ends
