Hi cerebrums and limbic systems!

We have another exciting online event for you!

>> The next event is Thursday, 17th of September at 6 pm. <<

We are very pleased to welcome Jon Yablonski, author of "Laws of UX: Using Psychology to Design Better Products & Services" to our UXPS meeting.

"Using Psychology to Design Better Products & Services

An understanding of psychology — specifically the psychology behind how users behave and interact with digital interfaces — is perhaps the single most valuable non-design skill a designer can have. The most elegant design can fail if it forces users to conform to the design rather than working within the “blueprint” of how humans perceive and process the world around them. This talk dives into how designers can apply key principles from psychology to build products and experiences that are more intuitive and human-centered. We’ll explore which psychology concepts are most useful for designers, a framework for applying these principles to their own work and the ethical implications of doing so."

Short Bio:
Jon Yablonski is a multidisciplinary designer, speaker, writer, and digital creator based in Detroit. His passion lies at the intersection of user experience design and front-end web development, and he often merges these two disciplines into a hybrid approach for digital problem solving. When he’s not creating journey maps and prototypes, Jon is building helpful resources such as Laws of UX, Humane by Design, and the Web Field Manual. He’s currently working to define the next generation of in-vehicle interactive experiences as a senior product designer at General Motors.

For the second time, this event will take place remotely.
We will send you a zoom link to the event as soon as possible.

See you soon.
