The UX Psychology Lens Toolset: an interactive experience with case studies

Join us at our upcoming UXPS Meetup for an engaging session presented by Verena Seibert-Giller, showcasing the UX Psychology Lens Toolset.

Discover the significant impact this toolset has brought to various organizations, seamlessly integrating psychological insights into their daily UX practices.

This comprehensive toolset includes a series of informative cards and a detailed guidebook, offering practical advice on applying 50 key psychological principles in a variety of UX activities—from research and design to management and writing.

The session will begin with a brief introduction to the cards and their methodologie.
Afterward, we dive into an interactive experience using a MIRO board that features examples and selected cards for hands-on learning. This will be your opportunity to experiment with the tools, share your experiences, and engage in lively discussions about your insights. If time allows, you are encouraged to bring an example from your own work to see how the UX Psychology Lens can be applied to enhance your projects.

As an exciting addition, we will be raffling off a UX Psychology Lens card set and the accompanying book among the meetup participants!

Don't miss this chance to deepen your understanding of UX through psychological principles and potentially take home your very own UX Psychology Lens Toolset!

This time, we're introducing a new format to make our UXPS sessions more interactive and collaborative.

  • We'll use a Miro board to collect questions.
  • Everyone can also place inputs about topics that might interest others.
  • Participants are encouraged to unmute themselves to speak out or ask questions during the talk.
  • We'll also have a dedicated Q&A session at the end for additional questions.
  • As we don’t have any sponsors yet (sponsors welcome), we need to start charging a very small amount (1-5€) to cover the cost of streaming tools and preparation work.

We believe this approach will enhance engagement and ensure we cover topics that are important to you. Looking forward to your active participation!

Cheers and… happy Thinking.
