# UXNight is back. And UX is entering a whole new era.
AI is changing how we design, what we design, and what it means to create great user experiences.
As intelligent products and AI agents reshape the digital landscape, UXNight returns to bring designers, researchers, and product leaders together to explore what's next.
For our return, Cascade SF is teaming up with Superhuman for an evening exploring how teams across the company design AI-powered products, collaborate across disciplines, and create agentic experiences for everyday users.
## How Teams Design AI Tools
What does it take to design AI products when the technology, user expectations, and design practices are all evolving at once?
Hear directly from Superhuman's design and research leaders as they share the challenges they're tackling, the workflows they're developing, and what they're learning along the way.
From designing intuitive AI agents to scaling research and building user trust, we'll explore how different disciplines contribute to creating AI experiences that are useful, approachable, and grounded in real human needs.
Explore the ideas, challenges, and emerging practices shaping the next era of AI product design.

# Announced Sessions
## Designing Agents for the Everyday User
Phil Vander Broek, Head of Design at Superhuman Go
AI agents are going mainstream, but many of today's interaction patterns were developed for technical users. How do we make agents intuitive and useful for everyone, from marketers and sales teams to students?
Superhuman Go is an AI coworker designed to understand your work and help you get things done wherever you work. Phil Vander Broek will share what his team is learning as they bring agentic experiences to everyday users.
What you'll learn:

  • Introducing the agent mental model: How onboarding helps users understand an AI coworker and gradually discover its capabilities.
  • Designing for control: How users delegate work to agents while staying informed and in charge.
  • Making agents accessible: Approaches to discovering, creating, and using agents without technical expertise.
  • Balancing proactivity and autonomy: How to design agents that know when to help and when to stay out of the way.

You'll leave with emerging design patterns, practical lessons, and a clearer understanding of the challenges shaping the next generation of agentic experiences.

## Researchers, Build Your Own Table: Scaling Influence in the Age of AI
Josh Williams, Director of Product Research at Superhuman
AI is accelerating product development. But as teams move faster, how can researchers ensure that meaningful insights continue to influence what gets built?
Josh Williams will share how Superhuman's research team is rethinking its tools, systems, and workflows to increase research's impact across the organization.
Drawing from real examples, he'll explore how the team is using AI to analyze findings, connect evidence, and make research more accessible and actionable.
What you'll learn:

  • Building shared research systems: Create infrastructure that makes findings easier to organize, discover, and reuse.
  • Accelerating analysis with AI: Use emerging tools to synthesize findings and uncover connections across research.
  • Making insights actionable: Help product teams access evidence and apply it to decisions.
  • Expanding research's influence: Develop workflows that give researchers more capacity to connect insights, guide strategy, and support faster-moving teams.

Discover how AI can help researchers move beyond delivering findings to building systems that amplify their influence across product development.

## Designing for Trust with AI
April Littrell, Senior Content Designer, Growth Design, Superhuman
AI's most powerful tools are becoming friendlier and more approachable. Playful interfaces, warm language, and familiar interactions make sharing our emails, documents, and personal information feel increasingly ordinary.
But are we earning people's trust, or simply making it easier to overlook their concerns?
How do we make AI approachable without making its consequences easier to overlook?
April Littrell explores how content design shapes trust across the user journey, from a brand's first impression to onboarding and everyday product interactions.
Using familiar industry examples and the public Superhuman website, she'll examine how voice, product framing, and information architecture influence what people understand, expect, and ultimately trust.
What you'll learn:

  • Design for transparency: Communicate what AI can and can't do, including limitations, uncertainty, and how personal data is used.
  • Build trust through content: Use voice, tone, and messaging to make AI approachable without overstating its capabilities.
  • Align promises with experiences: Identify gaps between what your product promises, what people understand, and what it actually delivers.
  • Look beyond conversion: Understand why signups and activation don't necessarily indicate lasting trust.

Conversion rates tell us people signed up or started using our product. They don't tell us whether we've built lasting trust, or a house of cards.
