Elizabeth Casey, CEO,
Ezant Product & Portfolio Management Consulting

Elizabeth Casey has two decades of technology experience building iconic global market-leading software products at some of the world's best B2c, B2B, and marketplace companies, including Intuit, Opentable, and Snagajob, and Hearsay Systems. Elizabeth is currently leading the creation of a Product Operations function at Harri, an HCM platform designed for the hospitality industry. Elizabeth received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of California, Davis. Elizabeth also serves as Board Chair for SFCV, a non-profit organization with a mission of engaging audiences, artists, and arts organizations through music journalism. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys playing golf and the accordion (both very badly).

Christopher Konrad, UX Research Manager,
Google
Christopher’s passion is making technology fit comfortably into people’s lives. He is currently a UX Research Manager on Google’s YouTube team where he is customizing your advertising experience. He is the founder and former CEO of Konrad+King, an experience design company, that humanized data intelligence, mixed reality and transportation. Prior to that he was the Manager of Design Research for TurboTax at Intuit. He began his career at Microsoft as a design manager responsible for providing customer insight and design direction for Microsoft Office products. He became interested in engineering products for people while studying Applied Engineering Psychology at the University of Illinois and working at the Human Perception and Performance Laboratory at the Beckman Institute.

Kavita Appachu (@kappachu) is a user experience leader and growth leadership coach who works with organizations to elevate the practice of customer-centric collaboration to drive transformation. As a Principal at Moves The Needle, she consults with organizations of all sizes to address growth challenges by building internal capability and new leadership skills to transform company culture toward continuous innovation. She has helped unlock the entrepreneurial spirit of teams and leaders at organizations including Intuit, Cox Automotive Media, AARP, Roche, and Procter & Gamble by coaching them to embrace change, understand the importance of risk-taking, and create solutions that create value for the business and customers. She also co-hosts the podcast SHIFT, interviewing leaders that are making an impact on the front lines of transformation so that others can be inspired to do the same.

Bennett King, Consultant
Equal parts design leader, design researcher and design technologist, Ben has over 20 years of expertise improving the human experience for the connected world. Currently consulting, he is the former Managing Partner of the design firm Konrad+King, and previously led the UX team at Qualcomm’s Advanced Technology Group. He has designed for digital experiences from the confined spaces of nuclear submarines, to the wide expanses of mixed reality. He is a 9th generation Californian, husband to a patient wife, father to two ungrateful children, and is 73% sure that he once saw Bigfoot.
