Design in Figma Using Claude Code & Codex
Details
Claude Code isn’t just for developers anymore, it’s for designers too.
It doesn’t just convert Figma designs into code. It can work the other way around as well. With the latest integration, Claude Code can connect directly to Figma and make edits through simple prompts.
Honestly, this feels like a game changer.
We don’t have to start from scratch every time. “Vibe coding” is finally getting the credit it deserves and it’s no longer just for quick prototypes. What you create can now be imported into Figma as proper screens, with tokens and components fully integrated. From there, development can move in both directions design to code, code back to design gradually refining things until they’re production-ready.
And it’s not just about generating screens.
Claude can also act like a design critic. It can suggest improvements around heuristics, accessibility, cognitive load, enterprise usability risks, and more. Think of it as having a thoughtful design partner who reviews your work in real time.
In this session, we’ll run through a live demo. No heavy theory just hands-on experience. I’ll start from the setup, show how the Figma integration works, and walk through different use cases step by step.
If you’re curious about how AI can actually fit into a real design workflow (not just hype), this session is for you.
