UX Vienna Meetup - Designing Empathy for Emotion-Aware Vehicles & UX for AI

Details
UX Vienna Evening Meetups are on the 2nd tuesday of every month — 12 times a year. This time we meet at FH Technikum Wien with two interesting talks:
Designing Empathy for Emotion-Aware Vehicles
by Sandra Kitting, UI & UX Designer, Self-employed (Kitting Design e.U.)
As part of the Empathic Vehicle (eVe) project, this study explores how empathic interaction design can improve user experience in future vehicles. A multimodal prototype was tested in a driving simulator to examine how visual, auditory, and tactile feedback strategies support emotional regulation, reduce stress, and improve driving comfort and safety.
UX for AI: A Guideline-Driven Approach to Design and Evaluation
by Ananda Stimm, UX-Designer, myVeeta
How can we design AI interfaces that are understandable, trustworthy, and address bias? This talk introduces three different sets of AI design guidelines as a foundation for UX work on AI-infused interfaces — covering what they are and how you can use them to design and evaluate AI features.
