About Our Speaker

Andrew Moore has been in the insurance industry for 20 years, starting his career at Sun Life before joining Equitable Life of Canada in 2021 as a Senior Business Analyst. In 2023, Andrew transitioned into UX design as a Senior UX Designer, where he played a key role in building and maintaining the Equitable's component library.

During that time, he developed a strong appreciation for Figma and how a design library can greatly help with designs. Although he’s now back in a business analyst role, Andrew’s passion for UX hasn’t faded—he still enjoys exploring how great design can improve user experiences.

In his free time he is involved in a prayer ministry at Creekside Church in Waterloo. He also enjoys 3d printing on his Bambu P1S, playing video games on PC and PS. When it's warm and sunny, he and his wife can be found cruising in his Honda Fury.
