Tools, Toys, and Instruments: Designing Audio Plugins

Audio plugins tend to live in a world of their own then it comes to user experience — from vivid colors and animated audio visualizations to precise and specific numerical settings that affect the final output. We’ll have a look at everything from what the design environment for Audio Plugins looks like to what kind of mental models musicians work with and the creative ways they interact with computers.
