VĀRĀ is not just a tea brand; it’s a story steeped in heritage and heart.
Born from the childhood memories of Kolkata mornings and monsoon afternoons, VĀRĀ is the personal journey of its founder, Ria, who grew up in a traditional Indian household where every emotion was shared over tea — black tea at dawn, chai with guests, green tea before bedtime.
What began as a soulful passion became a curated experience — celebrating India’s tea legacy through hand-blended, small-batch teas made right here in Ajax. Our biggest milestone was welcoming over 50 guests from our own community to our very first immersive tasting event, where they explored tea not just as a beverage, but as storytelling, culture, and wellness in a cup.
Today, VĀRĀ continues to grow as a local, artisan tea brand — rooted in purpose, personal history, and the art of intentional living.
