The Accent Workshop (Starting with British)

This is a taster workshop for our Modern RP for Actors course. Join if you've ever wanted to muster a British accent or just want to understand how accent learning actually works.

Join this free workshop and discover:

• What to actually listen for when learning an accent (and what most people get wrong)
• The key building blocks of RP - the "neutral British accent" and one of the most in-demand accents in casting
• How to keep improving after the workshop

You'll leave with a real feel for the RP accent and practical things to practice straight away.

The workshop is led by voice actor Sandra Gayer
Sandra is a blind voiceover artist, classically trained soprano, stage and TV actor, and radio presenter.
Her real passion is accents - she speaks convincingly from America to New Zealand, and her own daily accent is Modern RP.

You don't need any acting or voice acting experience
You don't need to be a native English speaker
& you don't need any special equipment

Just come and discover how accents actually work and have a go at one of the best ones out there :)
