This group is for all who are interested in Cuban culture events! We organize dance classes for learners of different levels, specific workshops as well as concerts etc. Our activities are based in Lisbon region but the community is from all over the world!
Everyone who wants to learn to dance or participate in our events can join - with partner or without.

19:00 - 20:00 - Cuban Dance Lab on Son with Francesca Negro (practice)
20:00 - 23:00 - Salsa Tribe SocialWe’ll build on what we explored in the first Lab — but with more structure and depth. We’ll start by reviewing the steps we practiced last time, making sure everyone feels confident with the foundations. From there, we’ll focus on sharpening our timing and precision, essential elements for dancing Son authentically. We'll also introduce a slightly more complex sequence that brings everything together, allowing us to experience how the technical aspects, musical interpretation, and the ecstatic feeling of Son connect in motion.
Whether you joined us last time or this will be your first Lab — you're welcome! This session is perfect for anyone who wants to refresh, consolidate, and deepen their Son practice.

Cuban Dance Lab is an immersive journey into the roots of Cuban music and dance through theoretical information, video showcases and movement sessions.About Francesca Negro read here: https://www.francescanegro.com/
This informative session will be on the basis of Son as a rhythmic pattern and dance, with its relations to previous dance forms and posterior ones, like cha-cha-cha and salsa. Videos, theory, and practice will be our tools for the day.About Salsa Tribe Social
