Tonal Sketching: Landscapes and Perspectives

Join Vadim Zang for workshops focused on classical drawing based on academy principles. In the Tonal Sketching: Landscapes and Perspectives class, you will learn how to compose and edit images based on the tonal solution of the composition, using light, shadows, range of volumes, and one to four-point perspective. Materials needed include:

• 9x12 or 11x14 sketchbook (smooth paper is ideal, less texture the better)
• H, HB, and 2B pencil
• Woodless graphite pencil (HB and B)
• Kneaded Eraser
• Small Point Eraser Pen (e.g. Tombow Mono Zero)
