Terry is a retired U.S. Navy officer and deep submersible pilot, and subsequently completed an 18-year career at Sandia National Laboratories. An avid hiker, backpacker and climber for nearly 50 years, he's journeyed to six continents but just recently expanded his horizons to include overseas backpacking trails, because he said "why not?".
