Valen-Thai is a girls-only, in-person cultural workshop inspired by the Thai way of love — gentle, intentional, and rooted in care.
This Valentine season, we invite you to slow down, connect, and experience Thai culture through meaningful conversation and the art of Thai flower garlands (พวงมาลัย).
WHAT TO EXPECT
🕊 First Hour — Connection & Community
We’ll begin with a relaxed mingle where participants get to know one another, share their personal Thailand journey (learning Thai, cultural interests, or life experiences), and enjoy light, meaningful conversations in a welcoming space.
🌺 Cultural Workshop — Thai Flower Garland
The workshop will be led by Kru Sasi, who will introduce the cultural meaning and history of Thai flower garlands.
You’ll then be guided step by step by Kru P’ Pook, owner of Banpha Phusamas (OTOP 4-Star Award, 2019), in creating a basic jasmine flower garland — การร้อยพวงมาลัยมะลิพื้นฐาน (มาลัยกลม).
Most materials will feature jasmine flowers, which symbolize pure love, respect, and gratitude in Thai culture.
