🎤 Book Lovers Valencia hosts a free open mic. night for writers on the last Thursday of every month — join us for an evening of literary delights!

We invite writers of all genres — poetry, prose, and nonfiction — to take the stage and share their work.

Not quite ready to read or just want to listen?
Come cheer on the local literary talent!

Whether you’ve got a short story you’ve been refining, a new chapter of the book you’ve been working on, a personal essay that’ll break our hearts and make us laugh, or a spoken word poem that’s dying to be heard, our warm and supportive audience wants to hear it.

📋 Want to read your work? Arrive early and get your name on the list! Our wonderful host, Alexey, will be there to guide you.

⏰ Seating is limited so come around 7:00 p.m. to get settled and secure a seat (seating is limited!).

Readings begin at 7:30 p.m.

🍷 There will be a 10-minute intermission halfway through, perfect for schmoozing or ingesting some liquid courage. Wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

🏆 At the end, the audience will vote on their favourite piece and the winner will win a little prize.
