VAST kickoff and Ai+Robotics+Agriculture Talk

VAST is the Valley Agriculture (using) Science and Technology cooperative located in the Valley (Carnation/Duvall) in Washington state. We are mostly a mixer bringing together AI developers, robotics engineers, and farmers, to talk about current problems and future solutions.

Elk are a big problem for farmers so we'll demo using agentic AI to research and recommend solutions (electric fences is the winner), but also all the possible solutions using robotics to deter various animals from a given area.

One of our missions, is to get the stuff out of a field that you don't want there, from deer to slugs to disease. We will be building an agentic AI system that will be discussed, which will hopefully intelligently learn how to keep the bad stuff out, and balance the good things like moisture and humidity (for indoor grows).

This meetup is to see who in the robotics community, AI community, and farming community are willing to meetup with other folks and investors someday, to start companies that will build the future of farming.
