Where we will be hiking: This year we'll stay closer to home and visit Patwino Worrtla Kodoi Dihi Open Space Park at 2061 Rockville Road in Fairfield.
There is an old saying that the way you start your year is the way your year will go. While I’m not very superstitious, there’s no harm in starting the year with friends. I’d love to make it a healthy and happy new year, and if the weather permits, I’d love to go on a hike. Hike level: Moderate to Moderately Strenuous
Parking: Please park in the main parking lot. Parking is $5, payable by cash or card at the kiosk.
The Hike duration is from 10am - 2pm. The main gate will be locked after letting in the last car by 10am, The park will be closed to the public. You musts be registered to enter. Limited participant slots will be available. Participants will need to stay with the group and in the park for the whole duration of the activity. The gate will not open until the event is complete.
What to bring:
* Walking Sticks (if needed)
* Snack (docents may allow for a snack break during the hike)
* Sun, wind, and rain protection (as needed)
Patwino Worrtla Kodoi Dihi OSP is an open space park owned by Solano Land Trust and operated through partnership by Solano County Parks.
