Pahrump / Red Rock Canyon Nevada

We will be exploring the trails above Pahrump Nevada in the Mt. Charleston / Spring Mountain Recreation Area.

Because the temperature will be hot down in the desert, We will be staying at an RV park so that you can run the air conditioner if needed without the generator. We will most likely stay at the Preferred RV Resort since they are close to the trails and have a Holiday Inn Express and Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino next door for those that don't have and RV or Trailer. You can park your SxS in a spot used by another Meetup member.

The average summer temperature in the Mt. Charleston / Spring Mountain Recreation area is 75 degrees. Most trails once we enter the mountains are between 6,000 and 8,000 feet.
