The Art of Bird Photography: 2 Day Event: (Day 1)

Join local bird photographer and hobbyist Hilary Vadner for a two-part workshop on "The Art of Bird Photography", hosted and co-sponsored by The Great Marsh Institute.
Class details:
Day 1 Friday, May 2 from 6:00-8:00 pm: During this classroom session, Hilary will give a presentation of avian photography techniques and tips. This part of the program will be held in the Great Marsh Institute's nature center.
Day 2 Saturday, May 3 from 7:00-9:00 am: Attendees will reconvene at the Great Marsh for mentored practice with Hilary during the golden hours of light just after sunrise. Valley Forge Audubon Society birding guide Nick Wilson will also be in attendance to help spot and identify birds for participants in this spectacular and photo-worthy landscape.
This 2-day class will be limited to 10 participants. Cost is a suggested $50 donation to the Great Marsh Institute. To sign up or for more information, please email lori@greatmarshinstitute.org.

Hilary is an avid nature photographer. Her work has been recognized by Wild Birds Unlimited BirdSpotter Contest (2022); Birds ’n Blooms Annual Photo Contest (2023); and Friends of Heinz Refuge Nature in Focus Photo Competition (2024).
