World Migratory Bird Day

Details

Join Ridley Creek SP's naturalist on a birding trip into the woods to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day (WMBD). We will be searching for arriving spring migrants as we talk about WMBD's 2025 theme, which is Shared Spaces: Creating Bird-Friendly Cities and Communities.

Beginners and families are encouraged to join us. Bring binoculars if you have them and wear good walking shoes, as some of the trails are uneven and rocky and may be muddy. You may want to bring a field guide if you have one.

This program will last approximately 2 hours, and registration is not required. There are portable restrooms on site at the mansion parking lot.

How to find us: Enter the park from Gradyville Road. Once in the park, follow the signs to the park office, which is Hunting Hill Mansion, and meet in the upper parking lot. If using GPS, enter these coordinates to take you directly to the meeting location: +39.95076, -75.45191
