Chester County Parks: Birding Springton Manor Farm

Details
The Chester County Parks system's 300-acre Springton Manor Farm in Glenmoore is part preserve and part farm and home to many types of bird-friendly habitats including fields, ponds, streams and woods. Of special note here are centuries-old oak and maple trees as well as thriving Purple Martin and Barn Swallow colonies during the summer.
This field trip will cover about 2 miles on rolling natural surface trails and will last approximately 2-3 hours. Bring binoculars if you have them - the leaders will have a couple of pairs to lend if you don't. No prior knowledge of birds or birding is necessary to attend, so if you are a beginner, join us! Children (accompanied by an adult) are always welcome, too, on our family-friendly field trips.
Restrooms are available on site at the Great Barn, where we will meet, and which is located all the way at the end of the park drive.
This field trip is a collaboration between Valley Forge Audubon Society and the West Chester Bird Club.
