Boating and Birding on the Schuylkill River (2)

Join Valley Forge Audubon Society during a leisurely group paddle on the Schuylkill River near Pottstown. As we float we will look for a wide variety of birds who are utilizing the waterway and its adjacent areas for feeding, breeding, and resting, so we will take our time and see what we can spot. For variety, this is a different stretch of the Schuylkill than the paddle on June 6th.

Whether you need to rent a kayak or are bringing your own watercraft (kayak, canoe, SUP) and just need a shuttle, our partners at Take It Outdoors have got you covered. We will meet at Take It Outdoors at Pottstown's Riverfront Park before being shuttled upriver to Ganshahawny Park where we will put in and float 4 miles back down to our cars at Riverfront Park.
