Chester County Parks: Birding Hibernia's Chambers Lake

Details
After the heat of summer days, evenings can be a magical time to be out in nature. Come enjoy an end-of-the-day birding trip with us as Chester County Parks' Ranger Rita and volunteers from the Valley Forge Audubon Society guide us along trails on the less-travelled side of beautiful Hibernia County Park.
We will begin our outing at the parking lot for Chambers Lake (Address 214 Wagontown Road, Coatesville) and will travel approximately 1-2 miles on mostly flat earthen forest trails and mowed grass paths before ending back at the lake for lovely views of the water just as the sun sets.
This family-friendly program is open to all ages and ability levels, with beginners to birding especially welcome. Please bring binoculars if you have them - there will be some available to borrow.
A portable restroom is available on site.
