Fall Migration for Beginners at Fischer's Park

Details
From swans to herons to songbirds, we never know what birding treasures we might find at this park, a Bird Town jewel in Towamencin Township. Come join resident Andrew Dolan and other VFAS volunteers as we travel the 1+ mile paved and natural surface accessible path. This is a perfect time to learn about and watch for fall migrants traveling through, especially warblers and other songbirds, while also enjoying beautiful year-round regulars such as bluebirds, cedar waxwings, various hawks and more. The route takes us along Towamencin Creek, through woods and past fields, for an inviting assortment of possibilities.
While this outing is billed for beginners, all experience levels are welcome to attend as are children if accompanied by an adult. Bring binoculars if you have them - we’ll have several pair to lend. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended (no flip flops or sandals). Accessible restroom facilities are available on site.
