Details

Escape the holiday hustle and embrace the quiet beauty of winter birding with us on a stroll through the peaceful fields and woodlands of Lundale Farm in northern Chester County.

December brings crisp air, quiet trails, and a chance to spot winter and year-round resident birds in their holiday habitats. Whether you're a seasoned birder or just curious about the feathered friends that thrive on this landscape, this walk is a peaceful way to pause and connect with nature during a very busy time of the year.

Lundale Farm is a community of regenerative farmers who work to enhance the ecology, health, and diversity of the land. Because the farm is sustainably managed, it not only provides fresh local food for consumers but also provides excellent habitat in which birds can thrive.

Our trip will cover 1-2 miles along the gravel farm road. Please bring binoculars if you have them. Beginners and children (accompanied by an adult) are always welcome at Valley Forge Audubon Society events.A portable toilet is available on site.
