Have you ever wondered how to make your windows safe for birds? Please join us for a bird walk followed by a volunteering event to install bird safe window treatments at the Conshohocken Free Library, and learn about how you can prevent bird/glass collisions, one of the leading causes of bird mortality.

The bird walk will take place on the grounds of the Riverbend Environmental Education Center (Riverbend | Home) along the Schuylkill River overlooking the city of Conshohocken and will be led by VFAS past president and Bird Safe Philly representative Vince Smith. Please bring binoculars if you have them. No registration is required.

After the walk, volunteers can learn about and assist with the installation of bird-safe window treatments at the Conshohocken Free Library. Snacks and beverages will be provided; please register to help the library plan for how much food and drink to have on hand. Registration is through our partners at Liberty Bird Alliance and can be found here: Bird-Friendly Window "Dot" Installation
