Details
Please note: REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED - see details below.
Join us Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 as local bird photographer and hobbyist Hilary Vadner leads a 2-part workshop on "The Art of Bird Photography," hosted and co-sponsored with us by our friends at the Great Marsh Institute.
On Saturday afternoon, May 16 from 2pm-4pm, you'll meet Hilary in the Nature Center at the Great Marsh for an interactive presentation on avian photography, techniques, and tips.
On Sunday morning, May 17, students will have the opportunity to bring their cameras and gear and reconvene at the Great Marsh for a morning of mentored practice with Hilary. Valley Forge Audubon Society's Patty Werth will be there to assist with bird spotting and identification. Join us at 8 am for in-the-field instruction and enjoy this spectacular, photo-worthy landscape, which is closed to the public other than for programs and events such as this.
The class will be limited to 10 participants with a wait list.
Cost is a suggested $50 donation to the Great Marsh Institute.
