Looking for the perfect way to unwind and welcome the weekend on a warm summer evening? Join us for a peaceful guided walk through the woods as the day cools, the light softens, and the forest comes alive. This is the magic hour — when birds grow active again, shadows stretch across the trail, and all of nature feels calm and relaxed.

We’ll take our time moving through the landscape, noticing the sounds, colors, and small details that are easy to miss in the rush and harsh light of the day. Whether you’re here for the exercise, the birds and wildlife, the fresh air, or simply a peaceful break outdoors, you’ll be in the right place.

Our walk will cover 2-3 miles and will last about 2 hours. The trails are hilly, earthen, and rocky, so good footwear is a must. Bring water and binoculars if you'd like to get a better look at the birds we encounter. We'll also note some of the amazing native plants that grow wild in Coventry Woods, and try to keep count of all the chipmunks that scold us as we pass by.

A portable restroom is available on site at Fernbrook.
Meeting location GPS coordinates: 677R+F48
