Tuesday Trail Walks with the Valley Forge Park Alliance

A longer-term closure is scheduled on Route 252 (Valley Creek Road) in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County. Beginning Monday, June 15, and continuing through Friday, June 26, the roadway will be closed weekdays between Route 23 (Valley Forge Park Road) and Yellow Springs Road from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This may require use of an alternate route to reach the Wilson Road parking lot.
Drivers traveling through the area will be directed to use Swedesford Road, Gulph Road, and Route 23 (Valley Forge Park Road).During the summer and until the end of September the meeting place is the Wilson Road parking lot. Meeting time is at 10 am every Tuesday. The walk will be along the creek.
Trail Tuesday walks cover a few miles in the park and are for all ages and speeds of walkers. Strollers and dogs are welcome.
Please note: walks are cancelled for inclement weather.
Typically there are 5-15 walkers. Not all who participate sign up on Meetup.com; most participate via the Valley Forge Park Alliance.
