Montana Mountain Adventure

Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life with an unforgettable off-road Adventure to Montana Mountain. We will ascend to an elevation of nearly 5,500 feet to enjoy stunning views and overlooks on one of the most iconic trails in Arizona.

This used to be an easy trail with a few small off-camber situations, shelf roads, minor rock obstacles, switchbacks and potential water crossings. However, the latest trail reports suggest borderline BLUE due to washouts and erosion. It should still be suitable for any Jeeps with 33+ inch tires. The loop is approximately 30 miles and should take us around 4 hours to complete if everything goes according to plan.

I’m sure you’re probably wondering why I’ve chosen a picture of a “boring looking” Jeep for this Adventure? This will be an inaugural run for the newest member of the Valley Jeepsters family. He was born in 2024 and adopted by yours truly after spending 364 days in an “orphanage” parking lot for new Jeeps, waiting to be rescued from boredom. I can’t wait to take him out on the trail and show him what Jeeps are really made for!

As always, please arrive with a full tank of gas at the designated meeting spot and be ready for a prompt departure. If you’re running late, please let us know by posting or messaging in the Meetup App. If your plans change and you’re unable to attend, please promptly remove yourself from the event so that others on the standby list can take your place.
