Note: The bridge is being repaired on Franklin Blvd. between Twin Cities Road and Desmond Road. If you are coming from the north, take I-5 South to Walnut Grove exit and turn left on Thornton Road.
The walk begins at the parking lot near the Visitors Center. We are going to walk through the nature preserve on a variety of trails depending upon the conditions.
We will walk 2.5 miles on flat terrain on packed dirt or paved pathways. There are toilets at the visitor center. Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable walking shoes.
We will end the walk by the ponds on the west side of Franklin Blvd and watch the sunset.
