Reasons why:

- Meetup charges organizers $600+ a year to host a group on the platform (which is sad, even a book club I am a apart of had to close their Meetup group because their fees were too high) PS Meetup if you ever read this could you pls lower the annual fee for me..? 😇

- Come join us at our back-to-school chess event with @ubcchessclub hosted at the legendary Koerner’s Pub at the UBC
- Event is open to all levels of players! 👩‍🏫
- Boards provided, but one month of @wwwchesscom Diamond membership will be provided to whoever brings the coolest board 🏆
