The Metamorphosis (1915) by Franz Kafka
Details
Introduction
As the season settles into a quieter rhythm and invites us inward, we welcome you to our next book club gathering, where we’ll be delving into The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka—a surreal and unsettling portrait of alienation, identity, and the fragile bonds that tie us to others.
Kafka’s novella, both darkly comic and deeply human, offers a window into the psychological and social forces that shape our sense of self. We look forward to an evening of shared reflection as we explore its layers of symbolism, its emotional resonance, and its lasting impact on modern literature.
