Welcome to The Richmond Yuan, a friendly community where you can make new friends, practice languages, and enjoy life in Vancouver.
Inspired by the concept of a "Yuan" (a shared courtyard where neighbors gather), our group is hosted by friendly locals who want to build bridges between cultures. Whether you are new to Canada, learning English or Chinese, or simply looking for a low-pressure way to meet new people, you will fit right in.
We are a casual language exchange group, but with no strict classrooms or textbooks. Come practice your Mandarin, Cantonese, or English in a relaxed environment. Don't worry about your fluency level—we focus on connection, not perfection.
