What we’re about
Welcome to our Vancouver cultural, concert, and lecture meetup! We are a diverse group that seeks to enjoy and share in the best that Vancouver has to offer in a variety of fora! (Started on 30.09.2023))
As important as enjoying the event is creating a Community of like-minded people (big C intended). Events in this group may include:
*Lectures by national/international fiction and non-fiction authors on key topics of the day - i.e. CBC Massey lectures, Vancouver Writers Fest, Vancouver library lectures
*Quiet, small concert environments - i.e. Candlelight concerts, classical music, smaller folk, jazz, concerts, world music
*Independent film - i.e. VIFF
Cost: While we shall endeavour to seek out free events, some will require a paid ticket. All tickets shall be purchased individually.
Frequency: Monthly
Format: Event + pre/post drink/meal.
Number of participants: To encourage meaningful conversation, participation will be limited to 4 to 10 people, depending on the nature of the event.
