Bring Your Favourite Viz

Have you recently come across a data visualization in a news article, report, blog, or tweet that impressed you? Or surprised you? Or changed your mind about something?

We are curious to see what kind of data visualizations you are excited about and open the floor to everybody!

If you are willing to share your favourite data visualization, you can send us a link during signup, or just bring your laptop to the event.

Everybody gets up to 10 minutes to talk about:

• Where did you come across your favourite data visualization?
• What topic is the visualization covering?
• What makes it special?

Of course you don't have to present anything and are welcome to just come and watch.

A note about the venue
We are on the 2nd FLOOR of 410 W Georgia St!
Northeastern's main campus is higher up, but there is another (easier to access!) space on the 2nd floor. Enter the lobby of the building and you'll find the Northeastern Banner. A volunteer will be there to guide you to the 2nd floor.

Again, you have to also sign up through Luma. This is a requirement of our hosts at Northeastern University. Building security can only let in people who fill out the quick registration (name and email address - Meetup doesn't give us that).
