The Vancouver Tech Sector Today: What is the New Normal? with William Johnson
Details
Aaaaaand we’re back in person in Vancouver Digital PM’s first ever in-person meetup since March 2020. Now, maybe more than ever, project managers have a host of new problems to solve for our clients and customers. What are some of the trends we are seeing across companies in Vancouver? Which are squarely in tech/digital and those that are trying to find their way in the new world?
Finally we can reconvene, re-connect, and build a community of Vancouver Digital Project Managers stronger and more supportive for each other than ever before. DPM is doing a state-of-the-nation audit of what this new normal really is.
You are invited! This event is for all digital project managers and their allies because we believe everyone does project management on some level. Especially those that are close allies in the workspace: product managers, program managers, coordinators, resource managers, etc.
Some takeaways will include:
- Where our tech industry is today by a big player that keeps a close touch to all all things Vancouver and Tech, and how our local tech economy plays into larger trends
- Learn our changing landscape of tech in Vancouver and who the players are
- Finally drink a beer and have a slice of pizza (over 2 years and counting later!) with fellow VDPMers, catch up on how we’re navigating proj mgt in this new environment and what our weirdest pandemic hobbies were
