Meditation - Compassion for Others

Compassion is a time honoured spiritual practice. To care for others gives us a sense of purpose, of wholeness and connection.
Compassion is not pity. We may not know what another is actually going through. With Compassion, we can seek to understand.
Compassion is a heart felt empathy, a desire to ensure those with whom we spend our lives with in family, in community, in the greater community of life are well, healthy and are relieved of human suffering.
There is much we can do to support others and help relieve suffering for others and ourselves, simply by holding a wavelength and intention of love and healing.
Many people are concerned for those who are vulnerable or live in difficult situations, those struggling to understand how to be in this world. Those who do not have resources, access to services or mobility and elderly and people who are ill.
That is where we will bring our focus to in this meditation.
