Intermediate drop-in class! The Art of Polite Requests and Suggestions

Welcome to a new way to learn English!

This week, we're launching our brand-new, 6-week intermediate drop-in series, and you're invited to the first session: The Art of Polite Requests & Suggestions.

Ever feel awkward when you need to ask for a favor in English? In this interesting and practical class, we’ll move beyond the basics to master the language of diplomacy. We'll kick things off with a fun icebreaker (Desert Island Dilemma) before diving into a real-world reading to see how native speakers do it. After some practice, you’ll get to participate in one of our now-legendary debates: "Is it better to be direct and risk sounding rude, or be indirect and risk being misunderstood?"

This series is designed for your busy life. While we have six unique topics planned, there's absolutely no commitment. Come for one, or come for all! Our goal is to give you skills you can use the moment you walk out the door. After the class, you are very welcome to stay around, socialize and make new friends until 8pm.
