Beginner Drop-In Class - Starting to use the past tense

Welcome to a new way to learn English!

This week, we're launching our brand-new, 6-week beginner drop-in series, and you're invited to a very special session: Talking About Your Weekend.

Is it hard to tell a simple story about what you did yesterday? In this fun and practical class, we’ll learn how to use the Past Simple to share your experiences and unlock your ability to talk about the past. We'll start with a fun memory game icebreaker ("Yesterday I...") before reading a simple story about "Maria's Weekend" to see how it's done. After some practice, you’ll get to play one of our legendary games: "Past Tense Detective," where you have to find the lie in your classmates' stories!

This series is designed for your busy life. While we have six unique topics planned, there's absolutely no commitment. Come for one, or come for all! Our goal is to give you the power to tell simple stories the moment you walk out the door. After the class, you are very welcome to stay around, socialize and make new friends until 8pm.
