Semantic Model Optimization: Theory, Tips and Tools by Justin Martin
Details
When your semantic model feels slow, it can be hard to know where to start. Is it your data modeling, DAX, or something else? In this session, we’ll walk through the key components that impact model performance and how to improve them. We’ll also explore a few tools that can help identify bottlenecks and guide optimization, including some I’ve built to simplify the process. To close, I will give a sneak peak of the DAX Performance Tuner tool, an MCP server which helps optimize your DAX queries.
Whether you’re new to semantic modeling or a seasoned expert, you’ll walk away better equipped to make your models run faster.
