Scriptwriting Workshop

Calling all screenwriters: Bring excerpts from your scripts. Hear how your characters sound. Get feedback from others. Excerpts should be from 2-20 pages. The duration available for each script will depend on the number of attendees. We’ll share scripts digitally, so iPads/tablets are encouraged. Screenwriters may also bring print copies of their scripts if they wish.

Readers/Actors are welcome. If you are not a screenwriter but you are interested in reading/acting out scripts - this session is for you too.

Once you have signed up, please DM and let me know if you are a writer or a reader.

How it will work:
Depending on our numbers, we’ll either work in small groups or as one big group.
Each screenwriter will have a few minutes to provide some context for their scene.
Readers/Actors will be assigned. They will remain seated.
Once the reading is over, the group will provide constructive feedback.

We will also have some general discussion about screenwriting principles and an opportunity to share our experiences. If you have examples of your work, bring a USB or share a link. If we have time, we’ll take a look and provide feedback.
