Mayne Island Hiking Tour (Easy/Intermediate) with Optional BBQ Afterwards

EASY TO INTERMEDIATE HIKE

***I WILL BE HAVING A BBQ AT MY HOUSE IN TSAWWASSEN (SHORT DRIVE FROM FERRY TERMINAL) AFTER THE HIKE STARTING AT 6:15PM. YOU MUST RSVP SEPARATELY FOR THE BBQ. SEE THAT MEETUP DESCRIPTION FOR MORE DETAILS***

Join us on this hike around Mayne Island. After walking on to the ferry at Tsawwassen and taking a scenic ride to Mayne Island, we will walk off and hike to the top of Mount Parke, where there are several viewpoints. We will then stop at a restaurant or pub before heading back to the ferry a different way than how we came. Everyone must be on the Going List so no guests unless they are on that list.

Note: We will meet at the foot passenger window at the Tsawwassen ferry terminal and then walk on to the 915am ferry (direct) to Mayne Island. We will catch the 415pm ferry back to Tsawwassen, arriving back at 5:45pm.

By going on this Meetup event, you acknowledge and agree that you are participating at your own risk and are entirely responsible for your own safety getting to and from the trailhead, on the hike, and during the course of the event. You also verify that you are in good health and are physically capable of carrying out this hike. Therefore, you agree to release the Meetup Group, the Organizer, the Meetup Host, and any affiliate from any and all liability for any loss, damage, expense or injury which may arise out of participation in the Meetup event, including during transportation to and from the event.

Please remember to pay your driver gas money ($10 per hour is pretty standard).
